To use the CSA menu planner:

  1. Create a free account (quick and easy) so you can save your menu plans.

  2. Type in a vegetable you have in your CSA box, hit enter, and it will appear in your produce list. Continue until all your fresh produce has been entered.

  3. Click on any of the dietary filters that apply to you, such as vegetarian or crock pot, then click "Filter".
  4. Peruse the recipes that appear, see what looks good to you, and click the green "plus" button to add them to your meal plan. (Click the black arrow beside each recipe to see what vegetables it uses.)

  5. Click the printer button above the ingredients list to get a PDF of the other ingredients you need to pick up at the store.

  6. Click on the name of a recipe in your meal plan to get the full instructions, when you are ready to prepare your meal.

  7. Remember to save your meal plan, to use later, and reference recipes during the week.

  8. Tell all your friends about this easy, free meal planner, and send in your favorite recipes to be added!

Why is This a Great Meal Planner?

  • This tool is especially friendly for folks who get a CSA box or who shop at the local farmers' market and get "what looks good".

  • It can be used to make 7 day (weekly) plans, daily plans, or a few days at a time. In the off season, I even use the internet to check what is on sale at my store, then use this meal planner to plan around the best priced produce. Double score!

  • This really helps me keep an emphasis on vegetables in my regular diet.

  • Users can now limit the recipes that are returned from the search by checking tags for categories such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or vegetarian.
  • It's FREE!
